PM Dion Ngute Fires Up South West To Vote Massively, Guarantee Biya's Resounding Victory

By AZOHNWI BEBIE-NCHO

On the first day of campaigning ahead of the 12 October presidential election, Chief Dr. Joseph DION NGUTE, Cameroon's Prime Minister Head of Government has urged voters in the South-West Region to vote massively for President Paul Biya.

According to the PM, a vote for President Paul Biya is a vote for unrivalled development in the South-West Region.

The Prime Minister Head of Government was speaking at the Bongo Square in Buea on Saturday, 27 September 2025 as the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) launched campaigns to retain President Paul Biya for another seven years of prosperity and development.
Mounting the rostrum packed with enthusiastic members of the CPDM, DION NGUTE, the footsoldier of President Biya said the South-West Region occupies the choicest place in President Biya's development vision after October 12. As such, without the reelection of President Biya, the South-West Region would cease to enjoy the privileges and developmental strides it currently enjoys under the New Deal government.

With an enviable number of South-West sons and daughters in all the strata of government, the PM says the region will be the biggest beneficiary should President Biya secure another mandate.
“Politics is a game of interest, and President Biya has the interest of the South West Region at heart,” PM Dion Ngute said.

Major investments are ongoing in the CDC, SONARA, Tiko Port, Tiko Airport, Limbe Deep Seaport, Bekoko-Idenau Road among others, all thanks to President Biya's development vision for the South-West Region.
The campaign of the CPDM is designed to be inclusive and to take a grassroots approach, with a door-to-door strategy prioritized.

PM Dion Ngute Says Only Biya Can Guarantee Tiko's Prosperity

By Tilarious ATIA

"The President of the Republic Paul Biya has decided to modernise Tiko."

The Prime Minister Head of Government, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute was speaking in Tiko Friday as he urged the population of Tiko to vote massively for President Paul Biya in the upcoming presidential elections.

PM Dion Ngute accorded resounding welcome to Tiko

He said since 1966, Tiko has not seen such high level of investment in the Tiko Airport, Tiko Port and the Cameroon Development Corporation whose plantations span through Tiko.

The Prime Minister said that out of the twelve candidates, only Biya has the capacity and determination to transform Tiko into an Eldorado.

PM Ngute reminded the population of the over CFA 50 billion CDC workers' arrears, which have been made fully available in the restitution process. The gesture, which the corporation's authorities had admitted to be a significant move to sustain it, was well received by the workers who have since then been expressing gratitude to Biya.

PM Ngute asked that the appreciation be translated into support to ensure that Biya continues to establish development efforts in the area.

In response to the cries of the people, the Head of Government assured them that the Tiko Airport and the port terminal would see the light of day. He said the only way this could come to reality was to lay their trust in Biya, the unparalleled captain who in turn will bring these projects to fruition.

He went on to express pleasure at the optimism the population was exhibiting. PM Ngute explained that the steps being undertaken by the government were to make the Tiko Port a modern transportation facility. The mandate, he said, was that of the government which he headed under Biya's directives, and being a son of the soil, the population was guaranteed of its realisation.
